Only one song has a strong political bent: in Jerusalem Matisyahu says Jerusalem is not about the land sea or country but about the land of the majesty. He also alludes to the Nazi gas chambers a couple of paras later in the same song. Unique is My Dove, a song for your loved one, is a bit of a surprise as the album is otherwise filled with philosophical messages.
